PLANiTWRiGHT received planning permission for a ‘coach house’ retirement home for the owners of the site. Various proposals which had been presented by the architect at pre-application consultation had been rejected by the Council as overdevelopment of the site.
The site was a challenging proposition as the main house was located at the back of the property. The final proposal showed a one and half storey coach house which appeared subservient to the parent property and which also provided adequate garden area for each dwelling. The clients are delighted with the building which is now completed.
